I've been on my period for almost 2 weeks now. I believe it is stressed related because it was ending (slllowwwwly) and I got extremly aggravated last night, and now its getting rough again. Is there any way to hurry my period up (beside chill out and quit stressin)? If anyone knows any ways please tell me!!!!! Thanks!

I think this is something to have an OBGYN look into. I don't know stressed you are, but it's not good for your body at all, period or not. What happens is your body gets stressed and shoots adrenilin into your system, then there is a reaction. This reaction could trigger the excessive period, although I have never heard of that, but every one is different. Best to check it out with a doctor.

In the meantime, go to a health food store with a knowledgeable staff, I think that raspberry is good for bleeding. Maybe they have a tea or tablet they can give you.
For stress, take a hot bath, add lavender oil, deep, slow breathing, close your eyes and don't think about anything.

Stress can cause changes in the menstrual cycle. But if you've had a period for 2 weeks, you should get checked out by a doctor. There could be a physical reason for it. I had a stressful time a couple of years back and had my periods closer together but I've never had a problem with prolonged bleeding.

Periods normally take 4-10 days depending on the person. If yours has lasted for 2 weeks and this is not normal for you, then it could be a sign of another problem. Please consult your doctor. The blood flow should be light at first...in colour would likely be light red, then the flow gets heavier and thicker, and the colour darker, and at the end, as the blood oxygenates, even darker...brownish even. But when you say getting rough again...do you mean like the cycle starting again? yeah...see a doc to at least rule out other potential disorders.
