How about matching ENGAGEMENT rings first. At least if that doesn't work out, you can take the ring OFF.

Oh for ***** sake, get something that means something to YOU, not something that will remind you for the rest of your life that you got it off Yahoo Answers. Smarten the **** up and think something up with your ****-for-brains boyfriend - don't get a tattoo 'because it's cool', which is what you're doing right now. Get something that you want, because you want it in particular, not just because you want to have a tattoo. In short - don't ask people on the internet for ideas on what you'll have on your body for the rest of your life. Or do, but this is not going to end well. Oh, i did. Twice now that you mentioned it. Asking other people about that kind of stuff still seems like a horrible idea and i'm still hoping that you'll see it before it's too late. Live a little? I have a swarm of bats covering my whole back. I got it because i wanted it, not because my aunt told me that it would be a pretty cool thing to do. So, yeah. Wisen up. Not a little, a lot. Because there's a fine line between 'dumb' and 'bold', which you are yet to discover. I'm just trying to give you good advice, which you choose to ignore - which is fine. Get someone elses cliched idea tattooed, i don't care, go, live, show everyone how clueless you are. I'm also quite far from a responsible adult, but even i see how ridiculous is the **** you're writing.

I think Chinese or Japanese letters would look cute, you could find a letter that means love or something, the good thing is that you would have a tattoo with an actual meaning, and no one would understand it to judge whether its too feminine or too masculine.
ps:unicorn is a symbol of the unity of men and women. A much masculine symbol would be pegasus, or you should watch Da Vinci, theres a symbol for men and women, V(for women) and ^ (for men) i think it would look cool and simple.

I wouldn't ever recommend a name lol because if something does happen you don't want to be stuck seeing that all the time. My hubby and I have matching tattoos on our upper back of a compass rose. We decided on that because it symbolized finding each other from a distance....so whenever I look at it it makes me remember how we met.
