There may be a button on your webcam for a still shot

If not, press the key prt sc or prnt scrn (short for print screen, next to pause, insert, and delete) on your keyboard, then open paint, then select paste to put the screenshot into your paint file

you can from there separate the video screenshot from the rest of your screen and use that

That depends on the webcam. I've seen many that capture both video and stills and some that only capture video. If yours does not support capturing stills then take a screenshot of whatever it is you want, and paste it into an image editing program. This is hardly ideal but it is a workaround if yours does not support taking stills.

It depends on the web cam. Some have this feature and some don't. You'll have to read your owner's manual or call their help hotline, they should be able to help you.

Yes you can. You can use the Print Screen key on your keyboard and then paste to Wordpad or Paint.
