Personally, I think Kelly Clarkson's been better produced, but Carrie might have more staying power since she's singing country.

Kelly Clarkson is much better. Isn't Carrie Underwood country? I haven't heard any of her songs, so I would say Kelly has a far more successful career (so far)

it really depends on what songs you prefer. Exactly, they're in different genre... I'd go for Kelly Clarkson if I wanna listen to some really up beat sort of songs. And you cant deny her voice is good... She won.. well, I don't remember how many grammys. But she won grammys!! Already!!!
Carrie Underwood can be described as ==pretty. talented. real.
She sings pretty good songs. I like her album, Some Hearts. :D So yea...
I can't exactly choose. I like them both!!!

Carrie Underwood hands down! She was just last years american idol's winner, but look at how much she's accomplished, and yet has been able to keep herself real..How many stars out their can actually do that and have a sucessful career? Not many! so i say,"Go! Girl!" Although a country singer, Carrie Underwood rocks!
