I am 17years old and I am 5'1ish maybe 5'2..and I weight around 140-145..? Am I over weight?

no ur not fat i know 13-14 year olds who wiegh more than u do and do not worry about being fat be ur self and if people call u fat just say i know u wish u had my body lol

Well how do you feel about how much you weigh? Check out some health websites that have bmi index and see what range you figure in. If you feel tired and run down alot then you probably need to lok at your options, if you feel great and are active then your just fine the way you are. The important thing is your happy with you.
You also need to ignore people like the one who answered this question before me only to brag about how skinny she was even though she was pregnant!

It depends on whether you are male or female as to how far over weight you are. Yes, you are over weight by medical standards for a normally healthy 17 year old of either sex at 5'2". You may may want to see if you have a slight thyroid problem or something. Otherwise, you may just need to watch how many carbohydrates and fat grams that you consume in your food and drinks.

You are overweight but not obease. So yea a few trips to the gym and cutting down on the carbs should put you back into fit shape. Even if you don't 10 pounds overweight isn't unhealthy at all, so don't worry too much about it.

NO you are not over weight at all. You are the perfect the way you are and anyone that tells you otherwise doesn't have a brain. I can't stand people who call completely healthy people overweight. I am 4'11 and weigh 110 pounds and people STILL call me fat!! And i am not overweight at all. Weight doesn't have everything to do with body fat, you know.

A lot depends on your fitness level - if you are very physically active and have a lot of muscle, you might weight more proportionally. The most important thing isn't really the number on the scale, but rather how you feel (energetic and healthy, or sick and sluggish) and the amount of activity you do daily.

Yea, a little. At your age and height, you should weigh around 130.
But your only a little overweight, u only need 2 loose 10 pounds or so.
