You can, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Extension cords and power strips can be fire hazards, and the more you connect, the greater the danger.

Most power strips come with a breaker in them that will help protect your equipment from damage. I would avoid plugging a power strip into another power strip or an extension cord because at that point the potential overload to your electricals could cause fire.

yes, absolutely, however i wouldn't use this as a permanent source of power. It can get dangerous, I know where I live in WV its not legal to use extension cords other than for temporary use.
and by the way dont listen to Mannys advice. He couldn't even spell Tension correctly

Yes...
Computers, most of them anyway... really don't draw that much current... once they get going.
There is a complicated formula for determining how much, is too much... so do this..
To simplify things...
Plug in everything you want to run... and turn everything ON...
Then wait 5 minutes...
THEN...
Wrap your hand around the line cord... that plugs into the wall...
if it's WARMER THEN ROOM TEMPERATURE... consider splitting the circuit.
Email me if you need more specific details.

bad idea...overload can easily occur...use one or the other..never both together..this is because each MAY have varied types of tention stregths (thts how much power the wires can take b4 failing)...mixing 2 differnt types on one continus circuit could cause an overload, as one wire may be low and the other high...

Yes, I have one in mine.
As long as you don't exceed the capacity of your strip you will be fine. Use the shortest cord that will work for you.

totally agree, plug it into said outlet, if it's too far away, use a 15 amp extention cord, no less, but you can go up. ;)

Yes, just dont overload the circuit. If its just for you computer stuff, then nothing to worry about.
