To not like someone is to say that they is something wrong in them and you ahve the right to decide that, when in the end we are made by one God who is the only guy who has the righ to say He does not like or whatever. so he created so many of these people by mistake. if you hate black people you are strange. you must cut your self and green blood comes out then you have every right to hate. if its red then .....well hehehehe

Most people learn from their parents and society. That is how children learn prejudice and hate. It's sad but true. I have heard small five year old kids call a black person by the N word and not think it was wrong. WHY? Because that's what they are taught at home. It's also like the kid that every other word is the F word. The mother says, "I have no idea where he heard that word".

There are people that abuse their children and think it is right, because that's the way they were treated. It just goes on down the line.

There is your real problem....I was raised by ignorant non existing parents who taught us nothing. As an adult I couldn't figure out what prejudice was because I was not taught. I didn't know what a Jew was. I think that was better because I don't have it in me to hate one because of their skin color or nationality. I fell in love with a black guy in high school and all my friends were in total shock. One asked what my parents would think. This was in the early 60s. I asked her why my parents would think anything, he's a great guy. Her answer was, "but he's a N". I was so hurt that anyone I knew would talk like that.

So, you see, it's all in the hands of the parents or care givers. We only know what we are taught.

There is no point in hating Black People. I have several friends that are black, one is a older black man that I call POPPA an there isn't anything in this world my family wouldn't do for him an his family. My other friends are also older an My husband an I call them momma ( their name) an our children call them Grandma. BUT the other side of your story. Its a story that goes all the way back to an I better than you or is it oh my i'm black I got treated wrong an I deserve it . Not because I worked for it an did better. but I'm black I should just do enough to get by an the other person worked a lot harder an got the prize. Don't blame everthing on being black sometimes it just the additute of the person.

there is no point but the normal view of the world in the time of the apartheid was that whites were superior -if anything i think our forefathers were superior only in the sense of the ego. I agree completely we are all made by the same God and that hating the blacks or the whites or the pinks or purples is just pointless , we should embrace each other's individuality. I wonder if everyone was blind if there would be such a stigma on appearance and discrimination because a blind person can't see what is only skin deep.

Please understand that sometimes when many people of a certain race have repeatedly wronged someone, chances are, there will be hateful feelings. Or if one person really wrongs someone terribly, that's all it takes. Also, there are LOTS AND LOTS of blacks who HATE white peole and they show it! When white people are subjected to being hated or treated badly by blacks (in prison, in neighborhoods, at jobs, in school...) it is understandable why someone would hate blacks! Nothing personal, but that's often how it happens. It may
explain how people come to hate others. In the same way some people hate gays - someone taught them to, or they may have had a bad experience with one. Some hate men for how men have treated them It's often ingrained from a circumstance or upbringing.

I have a question for you: Do you dislike a white person( or any other type of person for that matter) who does the same to black people? Do two wrongs make a right? I do not believe so and to ask such a question is just a despicable way to set someone up to be put down.

people should not sterotype based on color but, sometimes its hard for some people to understand certain things that feed negative sterotypes like:
like african american rappers stating that they are gangsters, thugs, & pimps & hang out with ho's
like the kids that blast their music & try to emulate them
now many people might not look as a gangster, thug, pimp or ho as being contibuting to socity but, that is the image that is conveyed to society by the media. these images build perception & when all they talk about in the news is when this perception is brought to reality like 50cent being shot, puff caught with the gun, or oj killing that white girl this in combination with all the bad publicy fuels the sterotype. now when the only thing everyone in this bad picture have in common are african american......well people are scared & they hate.

we need to make a stand & encorage rap stars to not encoruage the lifestyle of the pimps, thugs, gangsters, or promote ho's.

we need to encouage the media to show as much if not more possitive roles that african american people have played in our history, current time & what they have to offer in time to come.

every american regardless of race, color, ethnicty should feel that they have the same opportunity as every american.

life is short, we all live & die...... in my eyes we are all human

Good question. None of us has any control over the color of our skin and to hate some one because of how they look it pure ignorance. Especially since modern science has shown that the first humans were from Africa, and it is genetically impossible for a black person to come from white genes, while it is possible for a white person to come from black genes, meaning all of our ancestors were people of color.

Why just focus on one race? Why hate anyone at all. you shouldn't hate a group of people just because they are different from yourself. Let a persons actions and personality dictate weather you chose to like them or not. Even if chose not to like that person they shouldn't be the basis of how you treat the rest of that race there are great people and people not so great in all walks of life. From different backgrounds, social classes, religions and races. So if you chose to hate it robs you of energy you could be focusing to be a better person or on the people you love.
