See they all have similar skill sets, talent, etc. But Paul Pierce always seems to get left out of the discussion of best swingmen in the league. Why is this? I think Dwyane Wade is most compareable with Paul Pierce but shorter and a better vertical.

So why do people forget about Paul Pierce?

Okay so his team sucks, but so does Tracy McGrady's team. But people still talk about him. Why not Paul Pierce?

Because all of them have done something in their careers, lead the league in scoring, played fabuosly for a rookie, and slammd high flying dunks, but pierce hasn't gotten his team far into the playoffs for a while and he does have a decent team.

Because until the Boston Celtics get a big man that can rebound and defend, they wont win, and Pierce will be the scapegoat that gets called out for it...so I guess my real answer to your question is-

Because Danny Ainge went after Vin Baker, Raef LaFrentz and Mark Blount and ruined the Celtics chances for the last few years...

He's playing with a team that is not in the playoffs, the Boston Celtics. Plus he doesn't have the same dunks as Kobe.

Paul Pierce is a good player in all respect but he has a lay-z team that he dosn't stand out as much.
