When I hook it up to the battery charger to get it started,the 4 ways come on dimly,and off on the column,also dash lights dont work, but the tail lights do,where can I look this short up?

the 4 ways come on because the delco loc security system is alerting you of a power failure to the car.if you have the battery disconected for any length of time it will activate the delco loc security anti-theft deterent which will disable...1 the stereo, 2 the computer, 3,climate computer. once disabled you will have to take the componet to the dealer to reprogram the loc...and check for a blown instrument cluster fuse. i think they are 5 amp fuses.

Many things it could be. Clean both Battery Connections. Check the Ground Wire on the Battery and where it connect to the Body/Engine.

Go to autozone and ask a auto mechanic, there pretty good at auto zone, good luck :-)
