Favorite book: A Prayer for Owen Meany, by John Irving (the movie loosely based on this book, called "Simon Birch," is not very good, however).
Favorite movie: The Godfather. Interestingly, the book for the Godfather is also a great read.

My favorite movie is Die Hard for many reasons. Bruce Willis sarcastic wit cracks me up and it has a nice variety of characters. The directing was good. My brother being in it playing a hostage probably has something to do with it also.
One of my favorite movies of the last 10 years is Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck. I can watch that movie over and over. It's got it all. Action, comedy, drama, romance, it's a good one.
My favorite book is RipTide by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. It totally got me hooked on reading again. Another good one by them is Reliquary. Kind of scary but really good. But you got to read Dean Koontz sometime in your life. Intensity, The Face, Dark River of the Heart, Velocity, Dragon Tears are some of his finest.
