Your mum maybe having fun in her own way, doing things that she enjoys.
I think she's old enough to decide for herself, unless she's moping or has been emotionally scarred by something or somebody.
Anyway, you do care for you mum, that's good.
All da best!

First of all, your mom,s life is you and other children she has. And second you don't have a right in my eyes to tell her to get a life. Maybe she is happy doing what she is doing, it may seem boring to you, but she is older and what you are doing , she has seen that and done that. Telling her to get a life is disrespectful. Asking her to go shopping or for a walk with you or a bike ride is more proper and you may get her out of the house that way. Telling her to get a life ( if she is depressed) is making her feel worse. Again ask her to the movies with you , anything, but do it with her. Because YOU ARE HER LIFE! Hugs to you and mum.

Leave her alone. May be you can ask one of her good friend to talk to her. Some mothers don't reveal their inner feelings to their daughters.
