...lol... i cant believe that 1st guy... not only WAS he rude... but his answer is WRONG...lol...
because it obviously takes 2 people to dance the tango... the phrase is usually use to remind us that the fault in any situation is usually the blame of both parties, as in a lovers quarrel or the problems in Palestine/ Israel... for example: you may say its the Israeli's fault, then i would reply ,"it tales two to ,tango" meaning 1 party alone isn't causing the problem.... it can but hardly ever reffers to sex. unless your talking about cheating/ adultry.... it usually has a negative conotation...... answer my bac ho song question.....please....lol

That phrase is usually used when a person cheats on another person. It means that it takes 2 people to cheat it isn't just the 1 person's fault. You know how when you see the talk shows and the 1st thing the cheater says is "you know I love you right?" and then they go on saying that it just happened. Well even though the other person supposedly made a move on the other person the person who cheated on their significant other could have stopped the action from happening. So thats where the term "it takes 2 to tango," because if 1 person wants to tango (get together) with the other person it wont happen unless the other person wants to get together as well.

It means tht it takes two to perform a tango; you cannot dance a tango alone, it takes a partner. If your boyfriend and you were having an argument, and you were both participating, and he storms off in a huff, your mom might say, "oh, look, her Boyfriend made Emily angry." And your dad might say, "It takes two to tango", meaning that the boyfriend didnt do it alone; Emily chose to get angry and THEY were fighting, not just the boyfriend.

It means that in a given difficult situation, say in an argument between two people, the two of them are willing to participate, or are being part of the problem.

It means, in my example, that if one of the persons just walks away or does not give in to the argument, then it will not happen, because "it takes two to tango"...

Hope it makes sense

It means in a situation it takes more than one person to make it happen. Example: If there is a fight and only one of the persons is there to fight , there won't be much of a fight without 2 people. I hope this helps.

It means that 2 people have to agree on a choice for things to go in any direction together.
Meaning, you can't be lovers if only one person wants that etc,,,,,
