I think it's from "Parenthood." Dianne Wiest's character is attempting to soothe her teenaged niece who has just broken up with her boyfriend.

"He said he loved me," says the niece.
"Yes, that's what men do," says Weist. "They say they love you... and then they come."

Nearly any film with Jack Nicholson in contains some awesome lines.

A line from Batman, quoted by The Joker, Jack Nicholson.

"Ever dance with the devil in the pale blue moonlight? .... I ask that of all my prey!"

The Shining

Loads of good ones in here, probably the best is:

Jack - "Stop swinging the bat Wendy"
Wendy - "Get away from me, Jack"
Jack - "Wendy, I'm not gonna hurt you Wendy"
Wendy - "oh, Jack, I......"
Jack - "Wait a minute! You didn't let me finish my sentence.....I'm not gonna hurt you...... I'm gonna smash your brains in......smash them right the Fuk in!"

And the classic

"HERES JOHNNY"

As Good As It Gets

Some Bimbo - "I got to know!! How do you write women so well?"
Jacks Character - "I think of a man and take away all reason and accountability"

A FEW GOOD MEN

Jacks entire courtroom speech - "This country has walls,..." etc

bill murray, caddyshack:

<<...He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

"Merry Christmas you filthy Animal, and a happy New Year. "

I just like this line from Home Alone when Kevin is in the hotel and the people come looking for him. The guy on TV says it to the girl he shoots and kills.

In Dogma when the Metatron appears in Bethany's bedroom in a cloud of fire and she turns the fire extinguisher on him.

Bethany: What are you?
Metatron: I'm pi*sed off is what I am! Do you go around drenching everyone who comes into your room with flame-retardant chemicals? No wonder you're single.
