You're not human unless you cried at some point during Forrest Gump. "She died on a Tuesday." Gets me everytime.

Forrest Gump is the only movie that I've ever cried in. No lie. At the end when he finds out the boy is his kid I can't help but cry. What an awesome movie.

Absolutely! Forrest Gump is a fantastic movie. Tom Hanks is such an excellent actor.

No, but when Jenny died it was very sad. Forrest Gump was an excellent movie; showing you that a "slow" person can do extraordinary things in life. It was also an excellent history lesson.

Honey I cried so hard during Forrest Gump as it was filled with innocence...some that never left..now THAT is a rarity.....
I must have cried me a river hon..and a zillion Sundays straight into my popcorn each time.....Loved the movie...thanks for the reminder.....

To answer your question, I remember the day I saw the movie when it came out. My date loved it but I thought it was too weird. I did cry when Jenny died, but I just didn't really like it.
Funny thing is, now that I am finally watching it again after all these years, I think it is great. Guess now that I'm older, I get it.
Tom Hanks rocks. I wish he would do a movie with her again; they do have great chemistry. Sean Penn is one lucky man.

Only the first time in that part when those nasty kids chase Forest and then Jenny yeled: Run Fores,run!!! It is very sad,and the end also.... But other than that,its a laugh.
