Don't you think if everyone lived liked that, trying to help each other out, this world would be an awesome place to live forever....I try to help people out, but I usually get screwed over somehow, but I continue to help.....

I say, keep fighting the good fight. You may not be able to change the world, but don't let it change you. The more of us who live by this creedo, the more likely it is that we will change the way people think. Wouldn't it be wonderful to know that somewhere down the line you actually saved a life?

The pessimist would say the kid was stabbed in the end, what good did paying it forward do him? I cried until I saw it the 5th time. If only people really would make a conscious effort to pay it forward every day, than yes the world would be a much better place to be. And IS a better place to be than it would be if everyone stopped paying it forward now.

I've seen it a few times, and it always makes me cry. If everyone actually did the best they could to make the world a better place instead of constantly tearing other people down, well, I can't even imagine what it would be like.
UnfortunatelyI can't change the whole world, but I can do my share to make my little corner of it a little brighter. I believe that everything eventually comes back to us, whether we put out positive vibes or negative. I try to keep mine positive as much as it's possible.

It's a great idea. Even if people just did three things, the world would be a better place. And how much more so if people just made that a way of life.

Yes, I've seen that movie! It was really good, and I agree with you; if everyone lived like that, then the world would be a better place. However, because of those few that don't appreciate you have to temper how you extend your generosity with your own judgement.

Very good movie. I personally know some people who have a "Pay it forward" mentality. Those people are very rare indeed and yes, they do get screwed over while helping others.

I doubt it would desire to artwork globally. i think of to many human beings do super issues to others and anticipate some thing in return. The e book become plenty diverse than the movie, interior the e book he made extra of an effect and the assumption of it working globally become extra of a threat. i think of it would additionally matter on the guy who become attempting to get the message in the time of, I actual have a team of acquaintances who have been given me to envision the e book and that they are extra beneficial than chuffed, social and friendly people who're nicely easy interior the community. it would be tougher for somebody to get the message in the time of in the event that they are not very social and able to make some thing of themselves and or take risks on human beings.

Well, if you belive in Karma then we do live our lives according to the theory in Pay It Forward. When I do something nice for someone I don't do it expecting to get a reward. However, down the road if something good happens to me then I think to myself "What goes around comes around!" If you live your life being kind to others it pays off... The same goes for people who do bad things...they will get theirs in the end!

Just keep doing what you do. Karma will return to you three fold. It doesn't seem like it at first but it will, and sometimes in ways you don't expect. Paying forward is something I do daily, and it has returned to me many times over.

Giving is in the act of relinquishing your control on the gift. Expectations of its reception and/or use are not true giving. Pay it forward in sincere giving.
