Secular law in most western countries with large Jewish and Christian populations does not recognise polygamous marriages. polygamy is not legal in Utah. The church changed their standard on polygamy when Utah was trying to become a state. There are sects of polygamy practicing fundamentalists south of Provo in Utah. The "Greene" family is one of the larger sects and notorious for trapping under aged girls and forcing them into marriage.

Not anymore. It was part of the deal they made with the US government to be granted statehood.

there are stories comming out of the news that say there are polgamists in Utah... i think its the only state// i think they are mormans//
