It sounds similar to when we used to pick up pennies on the street.....now you can have ten lying around and we pass them by.
I just scratched a ticket too and won a free draw worth $10.
I plan to get that new ticket just as soon as I remember to tuck it into my purse.....lol

LOL... I don't usually do the lotto. But I get a bug up my behind every now and then. When I do, if I win, I usually turn it in right away. I don't get other tickets, just the money. The most I have ever won from one of those is like 10 bucks. I was so excited. I went to eat at Wendy's after that. :)

Well I can go up to 12 hours but I certainly don't like to (sometimes I work 12 hour swings and music is not allowed where I work). However, when I'm music deprived I don't get grumpy but putting on the music will be the first thing I do once I get to my car (even before the seat belt goes on) or when I walk into my house.

I usually let them lie around till I have a pile and then turn them all in at the same time, unless It's actually worth something, then I turn it in at once. I think they're good for a year on scratch-offs, check your state lotto comission

Here in Connecticut a winning ticket is only good for 1 year.

No matter the winning amount
