I get told that I am sometimes...Not in everyday normal things, but...If a female is flirting with Me playfully, I often times don't even pick up on it. Until someone else (usually another female) brings it to My attention.
I wonder if it's a guy thing? Or just something I don't normally think about.

Heh...just a couple of things...fear of rejection isn't an issue as I am not rejected often...as for low self esteem, I have a HUGE ego (as shown on My 360) and great self esteem...I just don't pick up on the flirtations sometime...

ohhhh...and to clarify, I am NOT trying to pick anyone up...I'm just saying that I don't realize it until someone else points it out.

Absolutely not.
"i" see everything. "i" can tell "You" are a tad clueless but perhaps "You" need to tap into "Your" senses a little more to get it.
aww hell, who am "i" kidding..... "i" dunno

Women are more subtle and discrete while men are more flamboyant and overt. It is only natural that you don't notice the subtleties of relationships because you are geared to the big and obvious. I think that it is more a guy thing, however, it happens to all of us because if we are in a "grove" with where we are at right then, then we don't always pick up on things. :)

Hmm..if I had to guess..the other female bringing it to your attention probably also has a crush on you...WE pick up on these things. And most likely if your mind is preoccupied with a particular female....you are oblivious to the other women round you that are trying to get your attention. :-)

It is not just you. Paris Hilton has been flirting with me for weeks, and until someone pointed it out to me, I was clueless. Now, If I could just get Jessica Simpson to stop hitting on me.

I've been blind to the obvious for years. It's partly from being naive, ignorant of the skill of reading body language. In addition, it's partly from, "I'd appreciate it if she meant it that way. I don't want to embarrass myself and get rejected if she didn't."

It probably comes from a low self-esteem: I am not handsome enough / smart enough / good enough for her, so she can't possibly be flirting with me. If she's looking at me, it's probably because I have a mustard stain on my shirt.

i think that is a guy thing. i have a friend who is male, he is kinda cute and sometimes girls he works with flirt with him, he just seems to think they are being friendly. he is not the type to think women would come after him. you are probably just like him in that way i guess.

Some people are constantly looking for these signals, and you are not--that makes you the better person--particularly if you (or the women sending the signals) are married.

i know what you mean. i don't even realize it anymore if a guy is hitting on me unless someone hits me over the head with a hammer! too old, too tired, too busy, too, just don't care anymore!!! nope, it's a woman thing too....maybe we can get together and be oblivious to each other!!!!
