Pack winter clothing. I don't know where you are from (Australia? Europe?) but Australians don't tend to use a lot of heating in their houses and people from cold countries like Finland have been known to complain of the cold over here.
Pack plenty of warm clothing, and maybe some cooler stuff as well in case there is a warm day. It'll usually get to around 18 celcius during the day and regularly drops to almost freezing at night.

Australia = Southern Hemisphere
July + Southern Hemisphere = Winter
Don't expect snow, but don't expect 90 degrees with sun. Maybe some spring or fall atire. That's my best guess, I've never been there in July.

As July is the coldest month for us you'll need something fairly warm. I wear a goosedown North Face coat which keeps me snug and protected from the elements. I'd recommend a hat too!

Some warm clothes, since it'll be winter down there, which isn't really that cold anyway.
