It depends on the type of job you will be interviewing for. The general rule is to look nice and conservative. I would do some research on the company (go to the office or look them up on the internet) to see the type of clothes the employees are wearing. So if it's suits, then dress in a suit. For sales positions it would depend on the store. I hope that this helps.

That depends on the interview, the place it takes place in, the time of day and the time of year.

As a general rule:
1) Always dress smart, but don't show off.
2) Never try to out-do the person who is conducting the inteview.
3) Always wear what makes you look good and positive.
4) Only wear cloth in which you appear natural.
5) Avoid heavy use of make-up and other artificial enhancers.
6) Don't wear a lot of jewelry and avoid glitzy bits on clothing.
7) Never wear new clothes to an interview, and especially not new shoes.
8) Avoid loud and shocking colours and items that are too trendy.
9) Make sure to wear always matching colours.
10) Make sure your clothes are clean and smell fresh.

You need to dress up in something that the boss would be happy to see you wear on the job that reflects good taste but not too revealling.Even if the job you are applying for doesn't require a dressy appearance, it shows the future employer respect and that you are taking this seriously.Appear on time, clean and freshly pressed and don't over do it on the cologne.A suit or a moderate length skirt with a crisp blouse. Good luck.
Also, show up with a pen and 2 ids. and a resume if you have one.

Men and Women

Conservative two-piece business suit (solid dark blue or grey is best)
Conservative long-sleeved shirt/blouse (white is best, pastel is next best)
Clean, polished conservative shoes
Well-groomed hairstyle
Clean, trimmed fingernails
Minimal cologne or perfume
Empty pockets--no bulges or tinkling coins
No gum, candy or cigarettes
Light briefcase or portfolio case
No visible body piercing (nose rings, eyebrow rings, etc.)

Men

Necktie should be silk with a conservative pattern
Dark shoes (black lace-ups are best)
Dark socks (black is best)
Get a haircut; short hair always fares best in interviews
No beards (unless you are interviewing for a job as a lumberjack!)
Mustaches are a possible negative, but if you must, make sure it is neat and trimmed
No rings other than wedding ring or college ring
No earrings (if you normally wear one, take it out)

Women

Always wear a suit with a jacket; no dresses
Shoes with conservative heels
Conservative hosiery at or near skin color (and no runs!)
No purses, small or large; carry a briefcase instead
If you wear nail polish (not required), use clear or a conservative color
Minimal use of makeup (it should not be too noticeable)
No more than one ring on each hand
One set of earrings only

Well, dress simple and appropriate.
Dress to impress but don't dress overly!

I remember last week, I was at a job interview, sure, I was wearing a simple semi-corporate attire. But this weird guy who was also waiting for an interview dressed so OVER- ACTING!

Everyone was looking at him (with eyebrows raised)
The nerve of him to dress as if he was the CEO of the company! lol
If you know what I mean! Yeah, everyone was looking at him! Even the employees of the company!
I wonder if that guy made the interview! lol

Dress professionally. Men wear a suit and tie with dress shoes. Women wear a dress no higher than knee. Hair combed - nails trimmed. No pieced jewelry except for ladies ear rings (tongue or nose especially). Also, it is crucial to arrive on time. Good luck

I recommend a two piece navy blue suit. A skirt for women. Pants for men. White shirt or blouse. Conservative necktie for a man, or scarf for a woman. Black shoes, black purse, small black portfolio to carry resume, job application.
Women should wear understated makeup. No perfume. Clean, simple hair style. Men, no smelly after shave or cologne. Fresh, simple hair cut. No sunglasses, no far out eye ware.
Good luck on your interview.

A general rule, you dress one step up from what the current staff would be wearing, or dress in what you would wear on your most important day of the job.

It really depends on what job your apllying for... for instance if your going for a job interview as a brick layer and you come in a dress suit your prospective employer might think your a wimp.

I would anyway..
