I want the truth

I'd wager a guess they did. I'm betting people in the government let the attacks happen, and did nothing about it so they could get away with bad public policies, and a crappy war of opportunism in Iraq. (Halliburton and Bechtel make Dick Cheney a wealthy man.)

See the movie Loose Change on google video.

Just trippy.

Then ask yourself, does the Bush administration and do the Republicans in Congress seem like they're acting in the best interest of the people or for special interests? (Tax cuts that benefit the most wealthy in a time of war, pushing a gay marriage ban, a flag burning amendment, cutting social services and infrastructure spending.)

Let me put it another way.

Right now you have people running the government who hate government. That's like putting people in charge of baseball who hate baseball.

The key reason for dismantling and impoverishing the federal government is for one main purpose: Money. If the government can't afford to prosecute and go after cheating corporations, there is no oversight of corporate wrong doings. The bad guys can run wild, and there's nothing that can stop them.

Destruction of the federal government means oodles and oodles of more money for the rich and elite in America.

It's a strategy to undermine democracy, liberty, and freedom in favor of creating a world of the elite and impoverished.

Welcome to the Brave New World of Bushtopia.

not ONLY IN AUSTRALIA but all over the world people r having debates about it,and the more facts come out like the towers should not have collapsed completely even after the planes crashed into them because the steel used in manufacture could stand a temp of 2000 degrees for a couple of hours and not melt instantly also reports by firemen and other individuals after the crash, also reports of how a series of explosions in the towers, have people wondering, also a couple of the hijackers were initially not allowed into us but the decision was reversed for no reason this and many other treories makes people wonder, but if 911 was a set up then this world will never be safe again even god will not be able to save mankind from greedy ,cruel evil world leaders

Almost certainly.

See these documentaries, and you will be convinced:

These are produced by reputable and credible journalists that are not part of the gov't . The evidence they show is independently verifiable - check their sources our yourself. The people who dismiss these reports, evidence and documentation are the ones who are gullible for blindly swallowing the propaganda fed to us by Cheney and Bush, and other high ranking officials.

How much Bush and his administration knew and how much they orchestrated the events of 911 may never be discovered, at least for a long time. They have destroyed much of the evidence in the cover up after.

If you want the truth, you've come to the wrong place. All you'll get here are opinions and propaganda, like that stupid loose change video thats been circulating. Anyone can edit video just right to make it support their theory. There was a guy a while back who circulated a video of himself "tagging" Air Force One. Never happened. He admitted he staged it, just to see how many people believed him.

Thanks for posting those videos lip11. I've never heard of them before, except in the thousands of times they've been posted here. Is every hack conspiracy theorist with a video camera suddenly a serious journalist?

I am not gullible, I just believe that Bushco wasn't smart enough to pull it off. Are you gullible enough to believe he was?

They knew but they said they didn't think it was true so they didn't do anything with the intelligence they received. That is their official answer.

There are 500 conspiracy theories on it though so... who knows what really happened.

There were lots of clues but I don't think they had exact information.

I would like to think that if they knew about it, they would be there to stop it before it happened.

Information gathering agencies knew there was going to be an attack. To say they knew it was on that day, that hour, that place would be ridiculous. Terrorist work in secret. It is the nature of the beast.

You will get opinions here.

I don't think so. They knew about potential terrorism, but did not know what or when.
