My friend has breasts that are obviously uneven in size. So much so that it distorts her clothes when wearing and no regular bra fits both breasts. She is a fully grown adult so it is not the typical early teen distortion that becomes more even with time. Do you know of any non-surgical solutions? And do you know if they make bras with asymetrical cup sizes?

Clear information as to who sells these things would be very helpful thanks.

Least expensive option is to use a normal bra and buy one of those gel inserts to use on the smaller side, just to even things out. The alternative would be to have a bra custom made, again, with one side that is more heavily padded to achieve symmetry. For that, she'd have to visit a place that makes prosthetic equipment. Cancer patients have to get things like this all the time.

The best option is probably to buy a bra that fits the bigger breast and then pad out the other cup with a silicone insert. As far as I'm aware, no-one makes bras with asymmetrical cup sizes, and I'm sure your friend would feel better if her breasts looked the same size, rather than getting a custom made bra and leaving them looking uneven.

Sorry, I don't know exactly where you'd get a silicone insert from, but if you look up some breast cancer support pages you'd probably get some information there on who to contact.

I think it's pretty normal to have one breast bigger than the other. I do. But not to the degree of your friend. It might be possible to get the kind of bra she needs from a place that sells bras for women who have had a breast removed due to cancer. I'm sure it's something that bothers her but it's better to have 2 uneven breasts than only 1 or none at all. Encourage her and all your friends to do their monthly exams and a mammogram yearly after the age of 40. God bless.

Most women have different sized breasts. It's normal. NO product will help correct that, unfortunately. Do NOT waste your money that way.

You might want to try buying a bra that has removable pads. She can wear it with a pad on the small side and without on the larger side.

I'm not sure if this helps but I have a theory that your breast is larger on the side you write. ie if your right handed your right breast is larger. It works for everyone I know and have asked. Maybe cause it is muscle, so the answer for all of us is exercise the other side?
