I couldnt contact you through your profile cuz it said your email is unverified.

In response to your email:
I am pretty sure you can just reinstall MS Paint again just by checking on the checkbox and adding it. I think its part of the windows system restore. If Im wrong, then I can give you the link to download it again...but I'm 99% sure that if you just go through the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs, then just checking the checkbox for Paint will let you add back in through windows without any CD. Its supposed to be a windows component thats independent from other softwares and is part of windows.

Go to Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs, there is a link on the left nav for Add/Remove Windows COmponents. Click on Acessories and then details and you should be able to check the box for Paint and add it again without a CD.

Symantec also was not helpful to me. They told me to uninstall my Norton and then reinstall...but I had downloaded it and when it came time for them to re-install it with me, they never responded to my multiple e-mails. I will never download such a product again. Always buy the cd. You may need to take your computer to a service provider and let them help - it cost me over a hundred dollars but it's what I had to do.

if norton cant delete the virus from normal mode, try running windows from safe mode and try running the virusscan again. You can go to the safe mode by pressing F8 key while booting

edit : if u want me to reply to your email, u'll need to activate/confirm your email first or talk to me on YM

and in response to your email :

its probably the trojan was running in safemode also try download this program first http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html and then run windows in safe mode again and run this tool and terminate any suspected process (if u can give me a list of your running program i can help u *do this in safe mode*) and then try running the virusscan again and do a full scan on safemode

but if norton cant detect it then you'll have to use another antivirus software
