You can dig them up and separate them at any time after they bloom. Just keep separating them, they spread like wildfire....

Take the spreads, keep them in pots and give them away as gifts to people for birthdays, etc. Or you can sell them....

After they're done blooming, in the late summer or fall.
I suppose you could in spring before they grow too much, or it'll cause a setback.

I think you mean day lilies. You can separate them in the fall.
