A more faster internet requires a more faster internet connection (switch from a more slower dial up connection to a more faster DSL connection.) It also depends on the internet provider. Some providers are more faster than others because they have a more faster upstream / downstream speed. Or you can just install the optional more faster button on your computer.

Try going under your internet options and cleaning out your internet history, cookies/cache, and files.
Other than that perhaps it's your provider. Maybe you have dial-up and would be happier with DSL or cable. (Given that you have the sources to switch).
You could also use a free proxy server. There are sites for them, just type it into the search engine. That's what I use to make the computers at school faster cause they are so utterly slow.

Constantly delete cookies and history.
Besides, you can also download Google Web Accelerator by going to the Labs section in more stuff at Google.com
