Also Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and Duane Allman who may be the best slide guitarist in all time.I must mention also the Great Robert Johnson who is also called The Blues Man because some of his tones aren't disovered by no one.You can read the legend for him and the Devil and their meeting at the "CROSSROAD"
P.S: It's very funny that some people realy think that gunS and roses and some little bands like them do realy had a place in a music history

Tough call, kind of depends on what style your interested in.
Hendrix usually tops the list.
But then you also have
Page, Clapton, Bo Diddly and so on.
Me personally I like all of them and respect their ability.
