can tell me advantages & disadvantages using contact lenses?

it can cause u irritation if ub have sensetive eyes but u can always ask ur doc for eyedrops, u have to be really careful not to wear them if ur hands ain't clean , gotta wash ur hands 1st, gotta change their solution once in a while for cleaning. on the other hand, u can c without ur glasses (obviously) so i think it's sooo much better (i've been wearing contacts for the last 2 yrs and i'm 14)

Advantages:
1) You can do all kind of sports except swimming.
2) Can wear your favorite sunglasses
3) Look younger

Disadvantages:
1) Make your eyes really dry if you wear in long period of time
2) Eye irritation
3) Lenses misplace in your eyes
4) Contact lenses last only for 18 months

Can lead to infections if not cleaned properly. Also heard that one of the new cleaning solutions had to be recaled cause it was hurting peoples eyes (some kind of eye fungus). If your lazy or don't know where you might wind up somedays they can get all dry and crusty if you sleep with them in. One day is not so bad but after two days you're in trouble.

Some good things, mostly more attractive, although some people look good in glasses and some people like others who wear glasses. Easier for many sports and such although having one fall out while your barreling down a ski mountain isn't good.

unless you have a reason why you shouldn't be touching your eyes i'd recommend them. probably more expensive than wearing glasses but if you bought a new pair of designer glasses every year it may even out or even be cheaper than that.

Advantages: You don't have to wear glasses
You don't have to worry about lugging a glasses case around
Your contacts follow your eye movement so you won't have blurred images around the edges like with glasses.

Disadvantages: Taking them out at night and rountine wear and care (the solution etc.)
When they dry out or your eyes get itchy and then your eyes get irritated.

It really all has to do with you... I chose to get them cause I like my appearance with them than with glasses. That's the main reason... and some people can't have them because of conditions of the eye.

the advantages are being able to see perfect!! whenever you look around u dont have a rim from the glasses. you cant even tellthat they are in, and its easier to do sports. the disadvantages are learning how to be responsible. you have to clean them every day unless you buy the dailies. also learning how to put them in & take them out is hard at first. i got mine when i was 13 & love them.

Advantages- u dont have to look bad with glasses lyk i do i dont look bad but with glasses my face does not look right to me even though people say it looks good.

Disadvantages- u can get something called eye fungi which irritates and makes your eyeball turn a greenish color or another color its not pretty trust me i saw it on da news with my own 4 eyes.LOL

I always hated glasses cos of the little mark that nose rest would leave on your nose...

Advantages -no glasses to carry around.
Disavantages - easy to lose, if you fall asleep with them still in you could hurt your eyes, and you have to clean well them every day.

advantages- you dont have to worry about waring goofy glasses.

disadvantages- it irritates your eyes sometimes, or sometimes they fall off and its near to impossible to find them.
