But now a box keeps appearing in the bottom right had corner of my monitor saying that my PC is infected with spyware and then opens a new internet window that takes me to http://antispywarebox.com/ It is advertising "Titan Shield" spyware remover but i think that it is the spyware. It's spyware. Use the reputable spyware removers to search it out.

Google for: Adaware, Spybot S & D, Ewido (win2k and newer OS) and Yahoo and Microsoft anti spys.

Download three (or more) of them. Install and update. Scan in safe mode (tap the F8 key before the welcome screen appears at boot time) and remove what they find.

If these don't work, hook yourself up with one of the online Tech Support forums (there are many, TechSupportGuy is my favorite). Post your problem and one of the techs will instruct you as to what to delete. They do this for free, and they know their stuff.

Good luck.

I am here for the same reason. This spyware keeps popping up. I'm almost ready to throw my computer out the window. In any case, if someone finds a solution and can email it to me, I'd appreciate and will pay 50 bucks via paypal for it.

First, I would try to use the RESTORE feature. Go to the Start Menu, pick Programs, go to Accessories and pick RESTORE in the
System Tools section. Go back several days.

Then go to download.com and get the free versions of Ad-aware and Spybot Search & Destroy. Install and run these.

The worst case scenario is to Back Up your data, then use the RESTORE disk. This will make your computer like NEW.
