Who said that?

You really have it all confused. You are perceiving yourself as a victim. this becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy.

It is the woman who is actually is control of mating selection. Short of violent rape, she can say "no.". Even then she can force an abortion, with or without medical help. She need not carry a child she does not wish to carry.

You do not "have to" marry. You do not "have to" stay home. You do not "have to" have children. Even if you have children, you need not raise them. Others can be hired to do the job, or they can be given up for adoption.

Women have much more freedom and control than you seem to recognise. The very recognition and use of this control is what is needed.

Women do have some remaining restrictions, but accepting restrictions that are not real, is a self imposed jail. Would you walk into a jail cell voluntarily, and lock the door behind yourself, toss the key out the window and then whine and cry that you are a prisoner? This is what you do by accepting limitations that are not real.

We do not have all the same options of males.
No need to sit about and whine.
Take action, and create more freedom.

But first recognise the freedom that you do already have, and use it.

i don't think anyone has the power to control anybodies life, even god himself couldn't do it.
there are certain limits to our lives, we don't have to live by them but we choose to do so because its the way it works.
there is nothing wrong with raising the children. in most cultures women are respected because of this fact. if a mother did not raise her son in the best way she could and a man did not have the love of women, that man would be a wondering animal with no ambitions, careless.
if women's did not raise the children then who would, raising the offspring is the job of the female in every specie that live on earth, the reason women refuse to except this fact with humans is because the human male plays a big part in our evolution and taking the big steps to the future.
as it has been mentioned its the women that are in charge of who they want to mate with, its the same with other species.
we each have our own jobs in nature, if we all did them well we wouldn't have any problem.

like i said you don't have to do what you are told or expected to do, its all about you.
i personally hate the way women are trying to give men this bad image, they talk about all the bad things we do but not the good ones. women's can be equally as bad as men."junoo" has mentioned that from the begining of time men have dominated and set rules for womens" this is not true becouse before christianism womens were in some way worshiped, they were seen as a gate way to heaven. in the sumarian law which was set nearly 5000BC womens actualy had rights at claiming lands, sharing money with the husband after devorse.

If you mean before marriage, then to be honest both men and women have a choice in who they marry. If you mean afterwards, men aren't really allowed to cheat, we still get into hot water with our friends (not from experience) and our wife's friends (again, not from experience). But in this day and age, women are beginning to take leading roles, and women are doing the exact same things as most men... a lot of the time with more thought put into it. If a man is cheating on you, you don't need to stand for it. Leave him. He wasn't smart enough to realize just how lucky he was when he found (and married) you if he's cheating on you.

from the beginning of time man has dominated woman and made rules for them to suit their selfish needs. They are basically scared of the power of women, hence in some cultures women are kept in 'purda'so that they do not distract the gullible men. All the prophets of God are 'men' and no women.Even God is perceived as a male! Unless and untill we women realize our potential and stand up to it , we will be treated the way we are . We surely should be respected and treated on an equal basics to say the least! untill then just use your instinct and make peace and be happy.

Depending on the relationship, ......men aren't "allowed" to, they just DO. You must be aware that " Women also 'DO" at times.
The fact of the matter is, nobody has to put up with an unreliable partner. There ARE options, some better than others. At times, forgiveness is the BEST one.

Congratulations anyway, you have observed life with it's most vulnerable aspects--relationships, trust, honesty, maturity, and faith.

Well, if they can have any woman they "want", and they pick YOU, then they will not want for anyone else!

They have the best woman in the World for them, the one they married, and who has thier children, and who is the best wife that she can be for him...

As you probably are!

I wish you well..

Jesse

They are not "allowed" to have any woman they want--most are selfish; think only of themselves--and expect us to be there for them whenever they happen to stroll in. They should not be making babies if they're not going to play a role in taking care of them.
