Well, it is a test. The more you suffer, the more God will reward you. If you suffer and just accept it in life, God is greatful towards you.

Who says He does?
There's one of two possibilities:
A) God allows suffering to happen and does nothing about it, or
B) There is no god.
Either way, we have to learn how to deal with suffering.

The sins of the people bring it on humanity. He gave us a perfect world with no suffering and we screwed it up. He warned that the result of sin would be suffering, and just as Adam and Eve ignored his warning... so does the majority of humanity.

Give Satan and disobedient humans time to prove their case that they can rule over creation better than God can.
With the suffering in the world obviously they are failing very badly. So they are proving themselves very wrong.
At Armageddon God will destroy those who are disobedient and restore righteousness.

theoretically its like this: the more we are tested and suffer, the more likely we are to turn to God for comfort. however, humanity being what it is, has the penchant to accuse and denounce things that cause/inflict pain. thus the freedom of choice clause, implied on our creation disclaimer. confused?...me 2 but it was a cvaliant effort.=)

God doesn't allow suffering, in some ways we bring it on our selves and the things we don't, just make us stronger. and as cliche as it sounds everything happens for a reason and i truly believe that. so... yeah thats my take on the issue...bye bye.

I don't know, but it is terrible when a young child dies, a person suffers with cancer or AIDS, people get murdered, raped, or hurt by any other type of violence. He has His reasons, I guess, and we don't have the right to question them.
