my grandson is 13 he his nalways swearing and been rude he his hardly at school he keeps on calling other people guys and lisbeons,which imbarres me and his grandad

The best way to handle young boys is to tell them up front. You may embarrass him, by telling him whats what, but he'll eventually get over it. Unfortunately the parents have rasied the child, you have to confront your child and inlaw and tell them what you think.

You could try yahoo groups and look up parenting teens. I had a club that was very popular for awhile, lots of women talking about many subjects dealing with teens. Got a lot of support there while it was needed. Check it out.

I don't have a child yet, but I am a teacher and I work with teenagers every day. So I think the most important thing to them is to be heard, not to hear (all they hear with defense is just bla-bla-bla, you know).
