You should be cool.

Don't need a new id or password. As long as you have a modem and some place to hook it up, you are good to go.

First you find out where laundry facilities are and how often you will have access to them, then come back and ask. But normally you need 7 days worth of normal clothes for a month trip. And one or two nice outfits. And access to a laundry room. Bringing more is just a pain. And doing laundry gives you a chance to sit and relax and reflect on life while washing and drying.

You can use your Yahoo account as long as you can get an Internet connection like at a Starbucks or other cafe or coffee shop. Yahoo goes anywhere there's an Internet availability.

When you log on you are logging on to the World Wide Web, and area codes and zip codes are unimportant, except to use your dial up connection.

I believe so. I just use the dial up connection manager when I am using my internet on my laptop at another location and where this is no available wireless connection in range.
