mostly they are companies that are sort of conglomerates
they do not have a product
their only business is to own other companies either in part or in full
they are the senior partner or upper management for the companies below them
their only income is derived from the companies down line

hell no, partnerships and companies are totally different. straight up, a holding company is a parent. parents hold the most shares in subsidiary companys so they can control the sh*t.
