It's a trojan. You need to get some good spyware/adware removers and run them on your system. No one anti virus/anti spy will remove all infections.
Google for the following:
Adaware
Spybot S & D
Ewido (if you are running Win2K or newer)
Yahoo anti spy
Microsoft Beta anti spy
Download, install, update and run them in safe mode (tap the F8 key before your welcome screen appears)
Delete anything they find. Good luck, and get yourself a good firewall.
AVG has instructions in their forum as to how to remove these also.

Everything that I could find by putting it into google search indicates that it is really spyware.
Suggest you use ad aware and spybot search and destroy, they are both free.

get an antivirus antispyware and firewall and update them once a week and you should be safe

prolly screw up explorer once in while....i had worm.ab.vs had to reformat entire hard drive ....to restore to an earlier date didn't take the worm out
