My 25 year old sister and her best friend told me they think I have problems approaching and asking women out because I am good looking. I am 26 years old and used to do modeling when I was 18-21 years old, including the Abercrombie catalog. But I have never had a serious girlfriend and many women tell me that I'm not what they expected. I have an extremely shy personality and am easily embarrased. My sister and her friend said my personality doesn't fulfill people's expectations that I am confident, cocky, etc. I don't feel like I have self-esteem problems but with each failure it is becoming harder and harder to muster the courage to ask women out on 2nd and 3rd dates. WHat should I do?

Damn, If I was a Abercrombie model, I would be pimpin all the Ladiez, Whats wrong with you foO! But again, I have couple model friends (male & female) that totally lack personality, which is a big big turnoff.
Try being friends w/ them first. Relax and have fun. Make her laugh alot, take her out to nice places, listen to her carefully and pull out surprises that shows that you have been listening and that you care for her. If there is right chemistry, it will come naturally.
Just be yourself. Anyone that says you are not what they "expected", is not a girl you wanna be with anyways.
I'm sure there are plenty of girls that will appreciated you for just the way you are. It just takes time. Good luck bro.

dont pressure yourself too much on finding the right person,youre young,good looking and you seem a nice guy,the right girl will come along...when she does you dont even have to think about being shy or what...in the meantime,just be yourself...people should like you for what you are....

Nothing wrong with being good looking. Just be yourself and try to over come your shyness. Look at this way.........go for it and ask her out if she does not go out with you, it is only her loss. Hold your head up high and smile the world will smile back at you ...........trust me there is nothing wrong with you, it is them.
