There are TWO valid reasons not only for India but also for Asian countries in the tropical region.

1) Due to excessive heat and humidity, Indians used to sweat quickly. If an Indian can continuously practice for 2 hours in the morning before getting tired, a Japanese can practice for 6 hours in the morning before getting tired. Because, in Japan, due to climatic advantage, sweating will be only after an hour of practice, but in India, an Indian will sweat even after 15 minutes of practice.

2) Race. Majority of Indians are from Arian and Dravidan race - supposed to be inferior in stamina and body built. But *****, Mangolean and Super Arians (Europeans and Americans) races are comparitively stronger in stamina and body built.

A ***** in tropical region (Africa) can practice more than and Indian. Because only practice makes man perfect, even in Sports and Games, only a lot of practice can help winning medals and cups.

As Indians are in disadvantageous region - geographical location, Indians are not fair in Sports and Games. Take Chess. Viswanathan Anand has ruled the world for a brief time, because it is a mental game.

Understood the reasons? Fine.

They were in group 3 in the 2nd stage of qualifying. They had to come 1st in their group of 4 teams to get into the 3rd stage, but they came 3rd and only had 4 points (Japan won the group with 18 points, so you can see they were well behind).

It's a shame, maybe they can do it one day, but we're a long way off yet.
