Actually, if you dont have insulation in "stone buildings", then it can be hot and cold to live in!

I live in a house that is all brick, on two rooms,(living room and kitchen), with no studs on them, just plaster on the bricks.

In the Winter time, they are cold, and in the Summer time, they are hot!
Mainly because there is no insulation factor to keep the heat and cold from entering the rooms.

A building that is well insulated, whether brick or wood, or other materials, will be "tight" and warm in cold or hot weather and take little effort to heat and cool it...

I wish you well..
