I have burned a song onto a blank CD and now I want to delete it and use the CD for docs only. I done this on Windows Media Player and it is not giving me an option to delete it! Help!

You can't delete anything from a CD unless is RW(re-writable).
I'm sorry,get another blank CD.

What type of cd did you use? it was cd-r then you cant delete or change it as it can only be used once. If it was a cd-rw then its re-writable and you should be able to change the tracks and even delete the whole lot

If your cd is only readable (CDR) then you can't simply delete a file (as far as I know). But if still have free space then you can simply write it using Nero or Roxio, then the all the previous data will be lost. Although the previous data will be lost, it will not increase your free space. However, when you have CDRW (rewritable) then you can simply open it up using nero to delete the file. The amount of your free space will increase depending on the file size you have deleted. Hope this helps! :)

By some CD-RW(re-wright CD) then you can burn and delete as you like on the same CD

Format the CD with Nero Express , or InCD. it works great.

u can only delete it if its a rw cd

FIRSTLY IS THE DISC CD OR CDRW, IF ITS CD YOU CAN GET RID IF ITS CDRW THEN YOU CAN ERASE INFO AND REUSE IT
