put a spoon in the freezer for a while and use the curved back piece of the spoon to bring down swelling under your eyes

I heard preparation H does the trick (smear a bit under eyes)..I certainly would never try it myself, though...lol. Apparently it's a trick used on fashion show models by make-up artists.
