The Argentina versus Ivory Coast match was a telling example of Technology being not utilised. ARG could have won 3-1, had Ayala's goal been allowed, the TV replays clearly show that the Ball had crossed the Goal Line.

Much as it would help to keep the game fair, it would spoil the game. The intrigue of the game is in the goals, fouls, the wrong decisions and the feelings that these evoke in those who watch. Let's keep it that way...you wouldn't get passionate about a wrong decision corrected due to replays now, would you??
Love the game the way it is!

As long as the replays happen immediatly after the play occurs. The review has to happen in a manner that would not effect the flow of Play. I don't see it happening though. Not anytime soon! It would definitely be a different World Cup if it was allowed though. These Refs are really hurting some teams this Go!!

Yes. With foot ball become national pride for so many countries and the pressure is building up for referees to decide the goals, we have to use the technology available with us so as to decide some complicated decisions.
When cricket and other games are using the high technology why not foot ball, which is world pride.

ya i think television replay be used to decide close goal in foot ball because a gaol can change the whole situation,a goal which is not a goal or very close or tough to say about it can ruin the hopes of the team.then it is not a fare game

No. Human errors make the game just a little more fun. You wouldn't want to see Formula 1 if there never were any crashes or cars that didn't make it to the finish. Football is just a little more fun with little errors of judgment by the officials.

Certainly NOT. It would turn the game into an extended lottery. Where would it all end?

The game is great the way it is, let's not interfere. An element of luck affects every team at one time or another.

I think it should be used, to many vicious tackles, fouls, penalties and sometimes goals are missed.
