Do you mean you have an old healed scar, or you have a new wound? If it is new, you may need antibiotic.

If it is old and healed, you can clean it with soap and water.
If the scar has all sorts of crevices that you can't clean out easily, you can pour some hydrogen peroxide (available at the pharmacy without a prescription) on the scar. It will dissolve any dirt in the crevices.

You should let your Dr. do that. It WILL get bacteria in it and then you r scar wiil double. However if you must yourself, use
