Hey, very thoughtful of u to share this! Thanks for the reminder! It's strange you should ask this question cuz despite some personal crises I have been going through lately I have been taken the time to really see how beautiful this world is. I was sitting in the sun yesterday just listening to the birds and loving the green grass and the breeze and the blue sky etc. Later on that same day at a different bat time....I was running at the park and I looked over and saw the moon reflecting on the water so I took a pic of it on my camera phone and sent it to my friends saying "LOOK!! You should see this! How nice!" They probably thought I was on drugs or something. LOL. So much beauty to be grateful for. You're right about never taking anything or person for granted. Life is so brief and unpredictable....and at times strange, but beautiful nonetheless.

A great poem along these lines:

i thank You God for most this amazing

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday;this is the birth
day of life and love and wings:and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)

how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any-lifted from the no
of all nothing-human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?

(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

Yes, it really is beautiful!! To me, it's all about the simple things in life. I can see such beauty in flowers, rain coming down, birds singing, spending time with my pet, walking in the park, a beautiful sunset or sunrise, or even just someone smiling at me when I look at them! It's such a shame that everyone is so busy today...trying to succeed...trying to have more...be more...do more, etc. With all the technology in the world today and everyone so much busier than they've ever been, I guess that it shouldn't be too suprising that more people don't appreciate the simple beauty all around them. But, it's still very difficult for me to understand how they CAN'T see or appreciate the simple things! it's really the simple things around us and the people closest to us, that bring true happiness, not more money or more "stuff". I think that I'm getting way off track in my answer, and I apologize for that, but being able to enjoy the beautiful things around us, really does bring true happiness, no? Great question!! :)

Funny how Exact same thought came across my mind today... It inclined me to take a 2.5 hour bike ride along my neighborhood and to the beach at 2 O' Clock in the morning.

The crystal clear sky, smooth moonlight, crisp cool breeze on my face, and the clean scent of summer delighted my senses.

I didn't want to enjoy the pure goodness of the world on my own so I called out a friend, and she must have thought I was crazy because I was cracking a smile in front of the tides like a madman. =)

Call out a friend and enjoy the good world together, Won’t you? It is W O N D E R F U L! C’on, when’s the last time you gave that buddy a call? ;) Cheers.

Yes, all the time. I live outside the city in a heavily wooded area. I love driving down my road because it's all trees and fields. I am fortunate that I get to see many 'critters' such as deer, rabbits, turtles and birds daily. I enjoy my view and take advantage of it's presence regularly. I am also 1/2 mile from a very large lake (a great lake as a matter of fact), and often go there just to realize my insignificance in this world compared to it's vastness.

yup..everyday, also, where i live...it is extremely beautiful.
i will not casually drive the roads, i always take in the,
ever changing, seasonal beauty. Hawks, along the way are some of my favorites to "catch" a glimpse of.

I was driving home tonight around midnight and the sky looked so light that you could see the bluness of it. Thinking the moon must be full, I got home and looked up. The moon was not only full and glaringly bright but had an enormous ring around it which just took my breath away. It was amazing and beautiful and I stood there for a long time just looking at it with goosebumps. For just a moment I suspected that God must exist.

ur right!! when we woke up and see the things around us we should be thankfull that we still have those things around us to see. God has given us so much for free to see, the mountains, the seas, flowers and trees. everything around us that God has made for us. The world is beautiful so let us join hands in taking care of the world we live in.

Yes I do...everytime I sit in my backyard. Yesterday was a perfect day, warm, slight breeze, blue sky and not a cloud to be seen. I was watching a hummingbird flying around and reading a good book.

Everyday I try to do so. I always enjoy seeing the world whenever I go out of my house. I see the good in everything now all thanks to my bestfriend. Hopefully I will never take him for granted.
