Are these islands can be condered as :
1/ U.S Territory.
2/ U.K Territory.
OR.
3/ Mauritian Teritory.

Of the 15 or so little Overseas Territories still clinging for dear life to the UK, BIOT should be the largest at around quarter of a million people - but the population was exported wholesale to Mauritius and other places; I suppose they got in the way. There was a court case in London which I think gave them the right of return, but not sure if any have gone yet.

I consider the Deigo Garcia Islands to be a United Kingdom Territory.

Jackwhite, you are Jackwrong.......
The US does have an Air Force base there but we (US) do not own the territory...
It is under the contrtol of B.I.O.T. In other words, it is a British Territory...
