1, Go to start --> control panel --> add/remove programs. Uninstall McAfee. Reboot.
2. Go to start --> search. Type in McAfee. From drop down menu search in My Computer, Under advanced options, make sure you check mark "search hidden files and folders", "system folders", and "subfolders". Click on search. If any files/folders are found, delete them.
3. Go to www.ccleaner.com and install their program (it's completely free.) They include a great registry cleaner and it's a lot safer than cleaning the registry on your own unless you feel comfortable doing so. If you still want to clean your registry:
a) Go to start --> run
b) Type in "regedit" without the quotes
c) The registry editor screen open. Click Ctrl+F. This opens a "find" dialog box
d) Type in "mcafee" without the quotes
e) Click on "find next"
f) If the registry locates something pertaining to mcafee you will be given the opportunity to delete. When warning appears, click yes.
g) Click F3 key on upper row of keyboard --> click find next
h) Registry searches for next mcafee entry. If another entry is found, delete and click yes when warning appears.
i) Continue to click F3 --> find next --> delete --> yes until the registry says search is complete
j) Close out registry editor window and reboot.
CAUTION: If you delete the wrong thing in the registry, you cannot get it back. It's gone for good. You can cause your computer to become unstable or crash.

The file is called regedit however, removing information from the registry can cause your computer to fail. The best way is to unistall McAfee, delete the folder and run Window washer to clean all the crap out of your system.

Lol... sorry to Say You can't uninstall Mccafee Completely.... Yea i tried before Mccafee... but i was not satisfied i Prefer avast! antivirus
yes That mccafee won't uninstall... first try to remove it from add or remove then Go to Msconfig (from run) and stop that Mccafee from being loaded itself at start up and also press ctrl+alt+del and go to process and stop Mccafee from being Executed
and safely Delete all Installed components from location where you installed it You may also need to clear temporary files (not temporary internet files)
you can do it right clicking to drive properties such as c: and diskclean up option... don't worry it won't remove anythin that is necessary!

Go to their website. They have a file called KILLALL.BAT that will remove all McAfee products.
