i think your most of the time is spent in forced reading
you might be a student ,or your job is to read things.
when i was a student (a proper one) then i didn' t liked reading but now i love reading.
try to start with hit novels like hary potter or da vinci code
and you will love reading

babes,i was just like u ,once upon time,such big novels,i wondered how could people read such fat books,but trust me,i finished my first novel in about a week ,apart from doing other things...but i hate love stories and non-fictions and simply love science fictions only.....if u r slightly creative and a scientific thinker{i am...lolz}then i think u shud go pick your first novel right now,don't go for the sicko authors vinay uncle is on.........
take your enemy's advice ....go down to a library right now
and pick MUTATIONS by DR. ROBIN COOK....U KNOW,u'll laugh even at the last page,i finished it in 2 nights
it teaches u where is the limit in life,where to draw the line
the father was ascientist,he did some qeeraas with the zygote and developed a handsome intelligent boy,the 6 yr old had the brain of a 26 yr man.......go for it......

I agree, reading is boring! I never read a book in high school and still got an A in english literature. Books are for poncy people that wanna look good imo.

I love to read. I read anything I get my hands on. Try to find a subject that would interest you. I used to not like to read, but that was long ago. It's so cool to be able to escape from the everyday crap to a different place. Just to forget all the worries and details and lose all sense of time.

i like reading a lot but this doesn't mean that all books are interesting. if you find that particular book boring that's ok, but reading in generally is a good thing

I really love reading non-fiction. So much so that my daughters even look for the latest hot recommended book being read at school for me to read.

2] Collected Fiction - by Ruskin Bond

i read a lot from romance to thriller to vampire. i read 2 -3 books in a week. just finished reading l.a banks vampire huntress book 1-5. =)

I for one enjoy books. No ads, no actors, no cheesy special effects. Granted there are boring books out there, but come on, give it a chance.
