Mmm, that is a tricky one, as I love both actors, but I think Spacey has the edge. I've seen him on stage in London and he was great. I do love Morgan Freeman but I think he can be a bit samey, whereas Spacey is a bit more diverse.
Spacey has won 2 Oscars, where Freeman has only won 1, so if you go by that, Spacey is the best!

They are both very good actors but I think Kevin Spacey is slightly better and I'll tell you for why.
When a film you've seen is mentioned later you always remember Morgan Freeman being in it but you just remember the character K.S. played without remembering him. That's a very rare talent.

Freeman and Spacey are equally good, I say.
i think freemans probably been in twica as many movies as spacey too so its also law of averages
But

Freeman must be friends with Eastwood. He keeps putting him in his movies.

I prefer Morgan Freeman for his voice. Best example would be him telling of Andy Duschain's life in The Shawshank Redemption.
