when I was born my mothers brother had just got home from the Army, he got hurt severely in the war.but was my new baby sitter now.so I kind of grew up in his house..and he had a head injury from the war..and as young as 5 years old I can remember walking up town to go to the stores, an all of a sudden he would just black out completely and fall face first into the sidewalk or the street, and here I was a 5 year old with cars honking their horns yelling to get out of the street and holding onto my uncle yelling for someone to help us...and then a cop would come and then the ambulance and off the the hospital..and then he got fixed up and they found what was causing it and they gave him medicines..lots of medicines,.so he continued to be my baby sitter and some where around a year later we took a chance and ran across the street in between cars and down again smashing his face and blood everywhere..and this would happen off and on through out my life with him..in church in the house and so forth..and as a child you grow up fast and learn how to protect and all for help.and this will never ever get out of my mind, I have night mares sometimes about this now.
and wake myself up screaming for help.
so this is my story, it is a true one.
and thank you all..
smile
good luck
and
God Bless

I had a fiance who was killed in an automobile accident. Her vehicle was struck head-on by a drunk driver in Wisconsin. I did not witness the accident, but I did ID her body at the morgue along with her mother. We were to be married 3 months from the date of the accident.
Never really got over it. I think of her almost everyday. That was 25 years ago and 3 wives later.
She was the love of my life and probably why I fail at relationships so often. No one has ever compared or made me feel the way she did.

Years ago my aunt was murdered by her jealous ex husband. She had left town and he found her. Chased her down and shot her to death. He got sent to prison and served 10 years and was let out for good behavior. Go figure.
I used to have nightmares about her death and would wake up so afraid. As I grew up, I realized she is in a far off better place and the nightmares eventually vanished. This happened over 25 years ago and to this day I still think about her. I named my daughter after my aunt and my aunt would of been proud, you know?

My cousin was murdered by her abusive boyfriend. She was beaten with a baseball bat after telling him that she was leaving and wanted a better life. He raped her, left her alongside the road naked on a highway to die. I witnessed her body along side the road, had to deal with the media, and sat through the trial.
Never get over it. I carry her memory with me forever and what she must have gone through in her final hours. But, to me the hardest thing is...........how could a man just use a young beautiful women and throw her away along side of a road, naked, to die.

Some things never fade.
I found my father on his bedroom floor after a cerebral stroke. He was deep into coma and died 6 days later. I was 10 years old.

My ex tried to hang himself in my apartment, specifically in my bedroom. I still think about. For a while I could not sleep in there without seeing his face. It doesn't come up that often but it changed my life forever.
