I have always admired people
who are not afraid to speak their mind, IF
they are not afraid to back it up.
Ann Coulter does NOT back down from anyone.
I would honor the person speaking, regardless of their opinion, if they have conviction and aren't speaking just to "flame".
I agree with you, that people like Ann Coulter, and Dennis Kucinich, and even M.Ohare are people who spoke from that base.
On the other hand,
I Find absolutely No Reason to carry any respect for a man like Jesse I-live-rich Jackson.
he is a fake and a user.

the place did you get the components of those "statements"? they might have been edited by utilising Michael Moore - he's rather solid with an modifying blade to cut back issues to greater healthy his perspectives! I pay attention to Hannity continuously, and that i've got on no account heard him say something like that. and that i comprehend what Ann Coulter became asserting - many (no longer all) Liberals are packed with venom for this united states of america and what it stands for - why else might they be attempting to place activist judges in means - it is so as that they are in a position to manage the form to be some thing it became on no account meant to be.

"lefty MSM?"
tell me one network not economically controlled by sponsors of the right, tell me one news source who simply rolls over AIPAC and other lobbies intimidating them into support for right-wing agendas? Give me one example of where the so-called left-leaning media has defied Karl Rove's threats like some Ed Murrow? Finally, can you name an example of when the media has been heroically aggressive towards the administration and forced them to admit missteps or even called them on their misinformation? it seems underhanded to me for you and others to simply call the media liberal so that it fears being called liberal and moves even more to the right.
as for anne coulter. with all the experts who are writing on current events, as well as reputable news sources -- and i mean the Economist, Christian Science Monitor, Democracy Now -- i cannot understand why you would get your news from someone so sophomoric. maybe you like her Madonna-style shock factor? For this i suggest anne's good friend Bill Maher; he has a serious treatment of political issues and listens to both sides.

I am truly amazed to find that there is anyone left willing to defend her. She is beneath contempt in my opinion but if you like her, then hey, stick to your guns. You could probably get the job as president of her fan club... I hear there are only like six people left who can stand to be around her for more than five minutes at a time.

I may not agree in any way with what she has to say, but I respect her right to say it. That's one of the things that makes our country great.
As for liberals getting a pass, I don't think that's the case. But we could argue that back and forth forever and not reach an agreement :)

A pass ? John Murtha, Hillary Clinton, Cindy Sheehan, Micheal Berg, Al Gore they haven't gotten a pass, you've been bashing on them for months. I watch Fox the "fair and balnaced" station, I do it on purpose. Night after night I see the "spin" and Ann Coulter loses night after night but she keeps winning at the bookstores and in the minds of (some) conservatives. Have you forgotten the Dixie Chicks ? Tell me who is the professional victem here ? The "harpies" as Ann refers to them, entered the political firefight after a great loss wanting answers. On the other hand Ann decided to insult them and almost anybody else under the guise of "relgious truth". I know let's tap her phone and see how she feel's about warrentless wiretapping then, (Bush can do no wrong with executive power). Let's seize her property through imminent domain compliments of the Patriot Act and see if she feels like getting politically active. Do I get Ann's point ? I'm not as stupid as she'd like to believe I am. Though carpet bombing or converting the "ragheads" to Christanity seems a bit out of over the top to me. A devout Bush supporter who, when it comes to forgion policy "bring it on", no weapons of "mass destruction" strains at an Iraq while swallowing a North Korea, China and Iran. They both share the same grasp of historical fact comparing Afganistan to Germany in WWII is just laughable.
What I find amusing is the idea she professes a faith in a god who said "judge not lest you be judged" and " he without sin let him throw the first stone". This under the premise that she is chasing the "money changers" from the temple, gaurding the holy of holies and ensuring the ancient boundry stones aren't moved. All this "relgious fevor" adds up to more then Jessica Hahn illicted from Jim Baker in the months of their affair. The self-righteous, entitled attitude of the devout under this adminstration is only reaping them an increasing deficit and credibility gap. If judgement begins with the house of God then perhaps Ann who professes to be devout should find a less venomous way of making her points. I mean clearly tossing the stone of judgement back at "godless liberals" does nothing to bridge the gap between the truth she professes and the reality she faces. I agree she has a point but while trying to make it she discredits herself and ends up being one more hunter with a large caliber rapid fire weapon snipe hunting. Perhaps she should consider going quail hunting with Dick Cheney ? He may offer her a few helpfull hunting safety tips. The important thing about that incident is that Dick Cheney has stood by the decesion he made to engage the trigger. He made a decesion he saw quail, he shot at quail and allthough no quail has since been found, it was still a good idea. Why, because it liberated his victems facial region of any quail.
The liberals and the conservatives will point fingers at eachother, she's one more actor in a bad play. While this goes on God watches and waits for the man (not PC insert person if it offends you) who will stand up and say "I'm sorry". This will not change one persons mind on the war, abortion or any other pressing matter, it only adds faulty reason to faulty decesions. Not unlike the idea that when no weapons could be found "it was a good idea" and suddenly it was a humanitarian cause. All this while Cosovo, Congo and Turkey bleed for lack of such generous, "humanitarian" intervention. She is not the prophet of God for those who may be confused. She is an opprotunist condemming those for the same things she is doing. Is her point valid, yes! I get it! The women of 9/11 or the "witches of East Brunswick" didn't deserve her commentary on their marriages. However she has profited by inserting her two cents in Americans bedrooms, no wonder she see's no abuse in warrentless wire tapping. Why would she, since intrustion into other people's marriages and morals is her field of expertese under the guise of a devout ordained by god prophet for the conservative. We defend their right as much as others defend hers. In the end if you wanna compare bank accounts I'll wager Ann profited more from insulting the widows of Jersey more then they did by making a Kerry support add. She makes the same "strong man" speeches that Bush does who is "they" would "they" please stand up. All these gratefull widows, firemen and others of 9/11 would you please step up and defend her actions ? Enter the arena have a voice she's made it very appealing. Let your voice be heard ! If anyone is a opprotunist and a "professional victem" it's none other then the one building her bank account on what add up to pointless insults. It's the chicken and the egg, the wheel on the bus, the he said she said debate and one more bottom feeder lowering the bar of integrity. The Jersey widows will survive regretablely Christain credibility suffers another charector blow. Everytime a member refuses to take the log from their own eye before removing one from another's eye it's another nail and the precious saviour they confess hand's.
At the end of the evening she will never be Bob Woodward, Tennessee William, Moses, Abraham or William Faulkner. They said so much by saying so little about so much. Her book will be nothing more then a title on bookshelves of conservative "believers", who think all muslims should be deported. Similar to Mein Kempf in Germany and she's accusing others of "bookburnings" ? All this sentiment about liberals don't get bashed is not true and often they deserve it. As a liberal let me say we're just as guilty. I wince when Al Gore opens his mouth about Global Warming, politics or the election he lost. I think John Murtha needs to temper himself. I support the troops of this country and will do what I can to ensure they never come home to a insult. That said I won't swallow rederick, I've served I know. This isn't a liberal/conservative issue it's a humanity issue. I won't take a woman's right to choose or vote anymore then I'd set a child molester free. Al Gore does not speak for me, Cindy Sheehan does not speak for me. Don't fall for this Ann Coulter does not know me don't let her speak for you.
As a side note I do look foward to George Carlin and her meeting on The Tonight Show. I predict George will shred Ann just like Steve shredded Bush and "all in good fun" the world loves a laugh.
