are you crazy?
there are so many scams out there
especially on the net
most are from Nigeria now but there are some Canada
most of them are trying to get funds or info so they can raid your accounts & sell your personal info to others
one old guy about 85 yrs
his family had to go to court to keep him from losing everything to a scheme based on the minister of finance in nigeria that died & his wife needed help in paying bribes to get their funds out of the country
he had ben promised a share

Not unless I knew it was for a legit cause. If you don't even know what it's for, definitely don't give them any money. Usually you can go online and find out if they are part of a scam. Check the better business bureau.

NOT AT ALL. I don't even send people that I'm familiar with money. Gas cost too much.

I would send a stranger money if it was for a worthy cause (cancer research, child advocacy, AIDS research, etc.)

I would send any amount. But, you have to be very careful, extremely careful who you deal with.
This is part of what the 'risk' is in business.
