It's very odd I dont know how to explain it so i am asking the ladies...............WHY?

Skinny men who appear bony and nonmuscular are unattractive because they look weak and incapable.
I would rather have a slightly overweight man who has some physical strength and ability.

It might not be that ladies actually go for chubby men. It may be that women (who are more emotionally mature) go for character, and it just so happens that these certain characters are chubby. But tubbiness suggests ample size in other areas... and it is also a symbol of warmth and strength. However, my current partener is really quite skinny, so it doesn't always apply.

Well for me its not that I like chubby guys better than skinny guys, but I would rather a guy be a little more muscular(lean) just because it makes me feel safer I guess. And a few muscles is nice to look at too. LOL

Great question. I'm a regular size girl, not boney not fat. All my life I mean since I was little I always thought chubby boys.... were like cutest!! I especially liked when they'd wear their belts above the waist..
I'd call it the "baby Huey effect"

who says all girls love chubby guys? Skinny guys can be CUTE- and so can chubby guys. I'm not a very "looks" person- its whats on the inside that counts.
